Join a Small Group at First!

Our Small Group Ministry is an ongoing opportunity to develop relationships with members of First Church in a smaller setting in order to dig deeper in the Word. There are intergenerational groups as well as age groups that may fit your stage of life. Some meet on Wednesday nights and others meet different times of the week. All groups meet at least once a month. Please contact Deb Lidgard if you are interested in being a part of this ministry.

Adult Discipleship

Sunday Connect – offers a variety of classes to learn and grow together following the worship service

MidWeek Connect- is our way of building community. Join us for a variety of opportunities to serve and get to know one another.

MidWeek Connect Meal: 5:30-6:30pm
2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month: Community Nights (Crocheting/Knitting Ministry, Pickleball, Guitar Group, Cribbage)
3rd Wednesday of the month: Service Events- a way to grow and give back to our community.

Bible Studies

God’s Word is alive and important for living in today’s world.

First offers a variety of opportunities to grow in our relationship with God and others through Bible Study.

Esther Circle: First Tuesday of the month in the upstairs Education Room at 9:30am. Come for coffee, fellowship, mission interests, and informal Bible study. Meets September-May. Contact: Karen Diekema

Women in the Word: Wednesday mornings at 9:30am, (September-March). Join us for coffee, fellowship, and a study on a book of the Bible. Contact: Marilyn Stelma

Men’s Bible Study: Marge’s Donut Den on the 2th and 4th Thursdays of the month at 2:30pm starting September 12. The topic for the year will be the Sermon on the Mount. You are encouraged to bring a friend! Contact: Chuck Porte

MegaMen Bible Study – Wednesdays at 6:00am in the Lounge. Come for Bible study and fellowship. Contact: Dave Lidgard or Bob Stelma.
