Small Groups

Join a Small Group at First Church!

As people of faith we know the journey of life is not to be walked in isolation — joining a small group provides a place for others to come alongside each other who are walking together in good times and tough times.

Each group chooses their own curriculum – although we are also happy to assist groups in finding resources to study if needed.
Additionally, groups set-up their own schedule and meeting place. If you are interested in finding out more about small groups, or participating, please contact Pastor Matt.

Adult Education

Discipleship and Christian education are an integral element of First Reformed Church. This commitment to Christian education can be seen in all ages of First’s membership.

Adult education classes follow Sunday morning worship services and, in addition, following Wednesday night dinners during the school year, we offer Wednesday night educational programming.

There are a multitude of classes taught throughout the year, focusing on a variety of subjects. Courses are taught by senior and associate pastors, as well as local theologians, lay leaders, community nonprofit leaders, and leaders in West Michigan that have expertise in a variety of topics.
