Gabriel serves with Unknown Nations to help with planting churches, distributing audio Bibles, and providing humanitarian relief to his local people in Nigeria.
Gabriel is focused on the most brutal area of persecution for the Church. In Northern Nigeria, more Christians are martyred for their faith than in all areas around the world combined. Yet he is undaunted with his growing network of over 250 missionary/partners that are ‘boots on the ground’ sharing Jesus with Islamic extremists tribes such as the Fulani, Hausa, and the Kanuri (people group of the Boko Haram).
Gabriel’s team shared this story about a Hausa Village Chief and former witch doctor who encountered a power greater than his incantations and gave his life to Christ.
We support Gabriel and his team through Unknown Nations which is dedicated to reaching the nations where Jesus is unknown.
Needs and Prayer Requests
Pray for safety for Gabriel. Many parts of Nigeria are opposed to sharing the Christian faith.
- He needs cell phones for communication on the field for their safety and to understand their needs as this broad and growing network of missionaries share the Gospel.
- He needs motorbikes for these partners to move around more efficiently than on foot; this will allow them to get to more remote areas, continue to check in on new believers as they grow in Christ, to be able to escape rebels/bandits, and to travel by day (rather than at night when it is more dangerous).
- And as his partners are more effective in reaching these remote tribal people groups, he is asking for more Treasures to begin listening groups which lead to indigenous churches when tribal members come to Christ and begin to develop their relationship with Jesus.
