Rowland & Jane Van Es
Organization: RCA Global Mission
Location: Kenya
At St. Paul’s University, Rowland and Jane are instructing young adults in theology, business, and social sciences, seeking to equip their students for lives of service in the world. Some may go into vocational ministry while others may start businesses, pursue higher degrees in counseling, or teach like the Van Eses do. Rowland and Jane’s goal is to mentor them to walk in the steps of Christ, whatever their path.
Prayer Requests
Pray for Kenyan families that struggle to send their children to school, especially boarding schools. Pray for students taking national exams in December that determine whether they will qualify to go to Universities like St Paul’s.
Pray for church leaders and pastors as they seek to minister in this volatile environment. May they speak truth to power, comfort the afflicted, and lead God’s people wisely.
