Are you the one who is to come, or are we to wait for another? John’s question is exactly what we should be asking as we prepare for Christmas. Who are you Jesus? What kind of Messiah are you really? If we don’t understand the nature of God’s incarnation in our world, if we’re looking for the wrong kind of Messiah, we will miss out on the greatest gift any of us can hope for.
