Swept Up into Life

When it comes to our ultimate destiny, what's next, our fates are in the hand of a merciful God.  The same God who daily, throughout our lives, has shown such resourcefulness in reaching out to us in love will continue, we believe, to reach out to us in love in our dying.  That's how we can be honest about the pain and reality of death because we have the joy and reality of Christ.  In life, in death, in life beyond death, this is our first, last, great hope.  Christ will take us along with him into eternity.  Thanks be to God.
