The Mockery

In the first half of the crucifixion account Jesus is mocked, insulted, laughed at, humiliated, and shamed. Not only was Jesus killed on the cross, he was mocked and shamed. He had His reputation and name destroyed so that we could have a name with God forever. He took the shame we deserve so we could have the glory of God forever.
